OPPRESSION - SILENCE!
6 Tracks of Punky Black Metal from these canadians with links to Verglas. A slight NWOBHM vibe going on on this tape for me. Real solid songs with a no thrills guitar, drums and vocals attack. Only 100 copies.
VERGLAS - JOIES FUNEBRES
Re-issue of the killer first demo from this black metal/punk duo. If Bone Awl and Akitsa had created a horrible demon spawn this is what music it would be into. A bunch of twisted riff strewn headbangers with appropriate shrieks and horror. I love this band. Look out for the new 7" out on Found Dead SOON!
Heres a bunch of photos, the film looks like it will be class. Hellish dystopian landscapes and industrial monstrosities alongside sleazy louche champagne drinking.
New LP in the distro. Check out postage as well as what else is available on the distro page. Email brainbombsworship@gmail.com for orders/enquiries.
Who Killed Spikey Jacket? - S/T £10
A totally ridiculous and stupid record that is the funniest thing I have heard in years. The catchiest riffs alongside some of the best punk lyrics I have ever heard. Songs about wearing studs, sniffing glue and spiking your hair with beer! A definite Anarcho-Punk vibe with bass high in the mix without being retro guff from this Boston crew. Imagine a less noisy Vaginors channeling UK82 and Street Punk. The LP comes with an insert on how to be a punk.
Two new Bong CDs for all the potheads out there. You know the score with these guys by now. Riff worship slowed down to a crawl in a dirge cauldron of drones and pot. Bow down and pray. Check out the distro for postage and other items you may want to purchase. Email brainbombsworship@gmail.com for orders and enquiries.
Bong - Beyond Ancient Space £7 plus postage

Got some new items from Side Two, a fairly new label that is bringing out some class shit. Check out the distro page for other items and postage rates. Email brainbombsworship@gmail.com and ballokknyf@gmail.com for enquiries/orders.
Green Beret - Violence Is Their Currency 12" EP
The label description described this one as Discharge meets Totalitar inspired Hardcore. Can't really put it any more succinctly than that. This is some classy D-beat. This ain't no Japanese noise punk band like every other D-beat band. There seems to be so many bands looking back to 80s Crust/D-beat for influences and its hard to pick out the wheat from the chaff. This band stand out with there own style and great catchy songs, certainly more memorable than a lot of the current crop of Crust warriors. 10 english pounds plus postage.
Confines - Withdrawn 7"
Raw Hardcore Punk from the US. Massive Black Flag influence on this one. Members of tons of bands including Failures, Brain Killer and Social Circkle to name a few. £4 plus postage.
Confines - Some Sick Joke
Another excellent 7" from these ragers. The first side has an amazing slowed down lurch of song like a heavier My War Black Flag. The second side sees the band playing two ripping fast ones much like the first 7".
New tape for the distro. Two live side long sets of sleazy and nasty noise rock from these northern scumbags. Think Brainbombs, Drunks With Guns, Flipper and Upsidedown Cross. Edition of 35 so get one before they sell out. 3 Quid. Comes with a great fold out cover that has a fuckin hilarious picture. Will have a picture of this release up soon.
Also thanks to liam for a great show on friday, loads of ripping hardcore. Apart from me being a total disgrace and embarrassment it was a class show. Here is some great photos courtesy of this tumblr...http://thomasplant.tumblr.com/....
